Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform
The Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform is an educational human rights organization dedicated to speaking out on behalf of the youngest and most vulnerable members of the human family.
CCBR will be coming to Regina in June, to do three public presentations on June 7, June 8, and June 13. GRBC would like to support this as much as possible. There will be approximately 18 people in Regina, and they are looking for billets, meals, or any hospitality we can provide. GRBC is working with Sonlight to determine if they would be willing to provide the venue and partner with us to offer hospitality.
Quizzing Wind-up
There is a quizzing wind-up this Thursday:
You are invited to the Amberson house (3570 Waddell Cres) for a BBQ and games at 6:00, May 16. We'll have hamburgers/hotdogs so please bring chips or salad/veggies to share. Please let me know if you plan to attend.If you don't have a new quiz book, you can get one for $7.50 each. It can be fun to get a start on memorizing and getting familiar with it over the summer.
"Confessing the Faith" Conference
The sessions from the Confessing the Faith Conference in Chilliwack are now available in video and audio. There is much here that is encouraging and helpful! This includes instruction on hermeneutics (how to read the Bible) and teaching about the confession of faith (history behind it, overview and usefulness of it, etc).
