The Gospel
God created us to glorify Him and enjoy Him forever (1 Corinthians 10:31, Philippians 4:4). In Adam and individually, we have all sinned, and are guilty (Genesis 3:6; Romans 5:12, 3:23; John 3:18). The penalty for sin is death – broken fellowship with God in hell (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:3). Sin also leaves us helpless - “dead in trespass and sin” (Psalm 51:5; Romans 5:6-8; Ephesians 2:1-3). We need God to bring us to life (Ezekiel 37:1-14; John 3:3).
God brings life through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:4-10). God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, truly God and truly Man, to live in perfect obedience to God, including death on the cross to willingly suffer the punishment for our sin (Acts 2:24; Philippians 2:5-11). Jesus was raised from the dead, proving that He is the Son of God (Romans 5:1, 1:4). To have Christ’s perfect righteousness credited to you, and the penalty due for your sins accounted to Him, you must repent of your sins and believe in Jesus Christ for Salvation (2 Corinthians 5:21; Mark 1:14-15).
When a person is justified by faith in Jesus Christ, they have peace with God, obtain access to His grace, and rejoice in the hope of His glory (Hebrews 7:25; Romans 8:26,34; Hebrews 4:16; Romans 5:1-2; Colossians 1:27). This means that all who genuinely trust in Jesus will one day see the glory of God and live in His very presence for all eternity as His redeemed children (Isaiah 65:17-19; Revelation 21:1-4).
If you genuinely turn to Jesus Christ in Faith, we believe it will inevitably result in a desire to join in worship with God's people. We invite you to join us to worship the living and true God.
